If you are thinking about shipping your horse across country DO NOT USE Gail Murphy of Personalized Equine Transportation Services, or from Murphyspets.com. I was unfortunately unable to afford my horse in New York so I planned on shipping him to Montana with my parents and their 2 horses. She was recommended to me so I looked her up and she was the one I decided to use. To make a very long and upsetting story short, he was first picked up a month after he was originally supposed to be, then brought to California to her ranch, where he has been for four weeks. After constant calls and messages she will finally return the phone calls. She is always giving the runaround about when she will be leaving her ranch to deliver him and to this day he still is not with his family. She give excuses about other horses not being ready to leave instead of taking the lousy extra few days to bring him to his new home so that everyone including him can finally be at rest and ease. She has had my horse for 5 weeks, I was never informed nor would I have ever allowed her to have him at her ranch instead of him being with my parents and his brothers. I am strongly recommending that no one deals with this lady so that they will hopefully not have to go through what me and my family are going through.
