What's a good rule of thumb for getting insurance on a horse? I've invested the money in my horse, but how do you go about having it appraised? I've put in some hard work, training, and alot of hours. I think my horse is worth more than when I bought him. LOL, how do you calculate appreciation on a horse? How do you amortize it? .....LOL never thought I'd say that about a horse.
