Does anyone know of a good barn in the Tampa area for boarding? I'm trying to find a place with decent sized pastures because I have a large thoroughbred, but will consider any good place. Thank You! 70sgirl@horsewizard.com

There are some pretty nice barns on 'Innfields' which is a street located near the Tampa Bay Downs racetrack off of Racetrack road. There are also a couple of others in that area as well, but Innfields is very well known. Let me know if you need/want a specific recommendation. What are you looking for exactly a Dressage barn, Western, English etc.... full or partial, daily turn out, or maybe somewhere with a lot of pasture time ....

Thank you for your reply. I know where Innfields is, but I only know about the Soaring Eagle there for boarding. If you have specific recommendations they would be greatly appreciated (both in that area and others if you know more too).
I ride english (hunter, dressage) but also for fun, so it doesn't have to be a show barn. I'd like to learn more dressage, but I have a trailer so the barn doesn't have to be english (not bad if it is though). Ideally I would like full board somewhere when my horse could get a good amount of pasture time (he goes out all night now) with other horses (at least one or two, but a few more is good). Partial where I get my own food and hay would work too. I can be a litlle flexible if I know it is a place my horse would get taken good care of.
Thank you for your suggestions-

I would suggest Winters Ridge farms off of Tarpon Springs road near Boy Scout road. They do full/partial board and have large pastures with night time turn outs. It's run by Portia Winter, PM or email me and I'll get you the number if your interested.
