anyone know of reasonable place to keep horse near Stevens Point, WI?

Hi..I am looking for a boarding place for a "new to be" horse owner. Doesnt need to be fancy, (cost is more important) needs some kind of round pen or fenced in area to work with the horse, and hopefully some other friendly horse people around who could give tips. Adult boarder with 13 yr old, very green broke mare. Mare has been outside with shelter, and is good with electric fence. Also, has been stalled, but very little. There has always been pasture for her to be out and running.

Could even be a companion horse situation to another horse? Please message if you know of anyone interested in keeping another horse. Or a reasonable stable. Thanks

Have you tried looking in the Wisconsin Horsemans News? They usually have a lot of ads for boarding. They do have a web site.

Ya, I have called stables too. Just was looking for someone that maybe wanted a companion horse etc. Not in it as a job necessarily, just to cover expenses or barter cleaning etc. Actually my friend found somewhere to keep it free. They have pasture and said it wouldnt cost much to feed. So she may go that route till she gets her own place. Thanks
