My seven year old apaloosa had an injury to his right front foreleg for two months. Now he can work, but after being ridden lightly for about an hour, he limps badly, with and without polo wraps. Does anyone know why, or have a solution? If this keeps up I will have to sell him, and I don't want to have to do that, he is my baby.

Well...if it were us...we'd call the vet out, and get his opinion on it. But thats just the way we are. You can try taking it easy for a while...
Did you have the vet out after the horse was injured?

my best mates 8 yr old palamino has just broken his right fore by being kicked in a field, hes on box rest for the moment, but when he comes out, he'll be introduced slowly to riding again.
Try putting him on box rest until u see no evidence of lameness, or if that is impossable, ride him for half an hour a day and turn him out for a bit, that way he wont be limping and he'll be building his muscle up slowly!
