Does anyone know what blood type of stains growing down out of the hoof wall would indicate? My Morgan cross has this, and is now exhibiting lameness in same foot, although he had a nail in his frog area recently. We figure the lameness is due to the nail hole, but are wondering what these blood type stains could indicate. They have been there since I've had him, 6 months. Thanks
